Common Questions

No prior teaching experience is required for either program. What matters most is a genuine commitment to your own practice and a desire to serve others. Both programs are designed to meet you where you are and build your skills from the ground up.
Time commitments vary by program. The 200hr Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive cohort format beginning Fall 2026, while the Somatic Practitioner Certification is a 6-month, 90-hour mentorship program running January–June 2027. Detailed schedules are available on each program's page — we encourage you to review them and reach out with questions.
Absolutely. Both certifications are accredited and recognized in the wellness industry. Graduates leave with practical skills, a professional credential, and the embodied confidence to work with clients, lead classes, or integrate these tools into an existing career. Many of our graduates have gone on to build thriving private practices and teaching careers.
Most trainings teach yoga or somatics in isolation. ORA Center integrates both — blending movement, nervous-system literacy, and embodied leadership into a unified curriculum. You won't just learn techniques; you'll experience a deep personal transformation that makes you a more effective, authentic practitioner.
